1097.0. "Betty Serveert" by WELCLU::GREENB (Lovers of Today) Tue Jan 05 1993 15:54
Translated, literally, "Betty to serve", some kind of homage to the
marvellous Dutch tennis player, Betty Stove.
I've heard two songs from these Dutch pop funsters (Palomine and
another one) - they are utterly marvellous if you like clangy (rather
than jangly) guitars, 'proper' songs, tunes etc.
Does anyone know what, ahem, product is available?

The Nits are the only Dutch tennis players I know. Not a bit
like Gong.

| I've recently been hearing a Betty Serveert song called "The Kid's
Alright", sounds pretty good. I do not know if this is a new release or
not.
