1075.1 | EMF | SUBURB::WAITEG | WE HATE WEST HAM | Mon Oct 12 1992 17:08 | 14 |
| I saw them live at Reading and was veryimpressed. I have all their EPS and
the first album but I don't have all their t-shirts.
I think there best song was 'Getting Through' of the unexplained EP.
I agree that the rock stuff is more rock and the techno stuff is more
techno, we'll that is the impression I get from the They're here EP.
Looking forward to getting the new album.

| RE 1075.7
I think PEKING::RANWELLJ is trying to be funny there, but what do you
expect with someone with "Smoke me a Kipper..." as a personel name.

1075.12 | clames to shame... | RDGENG::WHITEV | | Wed Oct 14 1992 16:48 | 8 |
| Carol Webb, my manager and chief librarian at the EIC at Death park is
the cousin of Derry. She says it's her clame to shame. She also says
he's tone deaf. There's a quote from him in NME saying they don't have
girlfriends. This, she says, is a lie, her name is Kirsty.
Well, I laughed.

1075.13 | MUSIC THAT EXISTS SIMPLY FOR ITS OWN SAKE | SUBURB::WAITEG | WE HATE WEST HAM | Wed Oct 14 1992 16:55 | 21 |
| **STIGMA**
The album opens up with the latest single 'They're here', which sets
the start up nicely. The song roars in and the album then doesn't let
up until the closing track 'The light that burns twice as
bright...burns half as long.
Along the way, they stretch the basic formula of dance beat, samples and
guitars.
The track Arizona is a typical blend of rock music with pop spirit.
Lyrically it's another good album and it seems to me that the music was
made to blend in with him.
This is another good album which overall is as good, if not better than
Sherbert dip.
