| Were they the same bunch of pratts I saw on a live show hosted by Emma
Freud some time ago? They stomped out in a sulk because of some
technical trouble.
Emma Freud is off course the sexiest woman every invented, closely
followed by Debbie from the Archers.

| Silvertone have released yet another rip-off collection of Stone
Roses early recordings recently. It's rumoured that they're working
on a new album (source: NME or something) but people have been saying
that for ages...
Dunno what label they're on though.
Re Emma Freud: Bo****ks (nothing personal!)

| Re .1: I think you may be referring to the time when they appeared on
BBC2's The Late Show, live. Power failed partway through their song, Tracey
(not Emma Freud) appeared to make some embarrassed remarks, and the Roses
could clearly be heard shouting 'Amateurs!' in the background. Great tv.
Tracey is, of course, the sexiest presenter ever despite that appalling Ch4
show she currently appears in.
And I'm listening to the Roses right now (lucky me). Last week in Reading
I found "The Stone Roses" in a double-45 pressing of good quality, in the
Our Price on Broad St sale.

| Ah yes, Tracey. But I've progressed since then. I stand by Emma.
('Well, I've never heard it called THAT before!')

| The Stone Roses will release new material on the GEFFEN label
in future, according to press reports.
I believe they have started recording material for the first LP for
their new label. Of course, it will be their second 'proper' LP.
