| I'm not going this year but who's playing anyway? If I was going I'd
hope that not too many big names are billed as this has made the
whole affair too crowded for comfort in recent times i.e. Happy
Mondays & Adamski two years ago. Whatever gripped the organisers
to bring in Deacon Blue in '90 is still a mystery to me.

single-day tickets a la Reading or is 50 for the three days the only
ticket available?

1039.3 | Single day tickets | UPROAR::WEBSTERM | any old string | Tue Jun 16 1992 15:05 | 7 |
| RE. single day tickets, not very likely. From past experience the
punters are all expelled from the stage area each night at Reading,
hence they can check tickets/charge again the next morning. At
Glastonbury the tents and stage areas are one and the same, but much
larger, no practical way to check what someone there had paid for.

| Strange days indeed, to see the name Millwall up alongside Glastonbury.
I'd heard that the Lions have established a creche at Cold Blow Lane
but this is extraordinary. Have the F-Troop and The Surgeons hung
up their fighting boots in favour of Rainbow warrior membership
and yoghurt weaving classes?

Re 20
To answer your question, I would just like to say Millwall fans get
everywhere in all kind of disguises. Also I'm too young to remember
the F-Troop and The Surgeons and you forgot to mention the Halfway.
Getting back to the music the best band their for me is THE LEVELLERS.
Jason, I also advise you see Back to The Planet.
I'll See you their (If their let me have time of work).

Millwall has been repeatedly mentioned due to a bloke called Gary
Waite who was a big football fan who's now seen the light(something
to do with a religous experience at a Levellers gig?!)and getting
more into other scenes (ie Glastonbury)but he isn't your average
MFC fan.SoRrY If oUr TyPiNg aFfEnDs....

| This woudn't be the same Gary Waite who saved my life when I was set
upon by 16 Millwall fans when they played Chelsea in '90.He's a
skinny guy about 5'7" with a blond bowl cut.I owe that bloke my
life ,he just stood there between me and the frenzied mob who were
looking for the blood of a Chelsea fan and said "Theres to much
violence in British football nowdays leave this guy alone he's got
enough on his plate being a Chelsea supporter"and the mob broke up.
