If an alien from outer space crash-lands in your back yard and
demands to know what "funky" is...

What record are you going to play?

I'd rate "Living in America" even funkier than "Sex Machine".

anyone improve on that?

Now there was a record played at the local town hall under 18s disco
when I were young (What an admission! In mitigation I claim that it was
the only disco which played any punk!) which was Funk personified.

Trouble is I only ever heard it once on the radio (When Stevie Wonder
hosted a program once) and I missed the title and artist. Such is life.

PS I wouldn't rate Living In America as funk at all, but James Brown
has to be a good example.OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
