| Their second album is "Honey Lingers" which contains a few singles -
"I think I love you"- a pyschedelic version of the Partridge family (or
was it the Cowsills?) song.
"Monsters and Angels" and "Perfect Place"- nice power pop
Cheers,

Hum, I vaguely recall reading that one member of Strawberry
Switchblade was up to something but I don't recall it being
with Voice of the Beehive. It may not even be anything recent.

| I really loved their first release and was very disappointed with the
second. Too commercial and they lost their sense of humor.
It sounds real pretty, though.

I agree, I was listening to the first album this morning and couldn't
quite figure out the words to one part of "Barbarian...". The bit that
goes :-
He's got his eyes on the horizon
He says I can ride his rocket
When telephone numbers are tumbling from his top pocket
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX ! CAN'T FIGURE THIS BIT OUT
He falls out of the car
And he says "I'll f*** you later now just get me to the bar"
Any help ?

I just noticed that there's two notes on them (#$278).
Anyhow, I'm just curious about the reference to Strawberry
Switchblade in .9 but a quick look on the outside of the current
release packaging didn't suggest it but who knows.
Also, is the song "I Think I Love You" a cover from the U.S.
Partridge Family, David Cassidy and company? Seems unlikely
but again who knows.

| I do believe their "I think I love you" is a cover of the Partridge
Family original. It adds a certain something to it, though.

| Re; .18
Strawberry Switchblade are from Glasgow, Voice of the Beehive are from
L.A. - Other than that, they seem to dress alike
Re; .20
There's an interview with Tracey in the March edition of "Satellite
Times", but it's hardly what you'd call "in depth"
