| I preferred Marillion with Fish up front. I've not looked into his solo
career too much yet, but it is something I intend to do. He's a really
brand new fellow I've heard and we share the same football interests.
He is currently on TV just now in a serial called Duke City where he
plays a big hit man......

| I have Vigil in a Wilderness of Mirrors which I like very much. I'm
looking forward to finding Internal Exile here in the states. I know of
one place in San Francisco where I can order it from; I'm just waiting
to see if I can find it a little closer to home (Massachusetts)...

I have listened to "Internal Exile" several times. I do like it
a lot. It's complete different to "Virgil". But it's great.
Exerpt the song "Something In The Air", which is a totally dull
song. But all the other tracks are really great. I can't wait
for the 16th of December when I'm going to see Fish live here
in Hamburg. I think, that best thing he has done, is to leave
Marillion. They're covering theirselves, now. But Fish is doing
interesting stuff of music.

| Hi,
When I heard the track 'Something in the air' on the Internal Exile
album I had the idea I heard that song before. I can't find a name in
the little book that gives me a satisfying answer.
Does anyone know?
Sjaak.

| Hi,
Fish is going to give a concert on 20/21 June in Weert, which is about
30 km south of Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
Sjaak (no one for 'Something in the air'?).

mostly appreciate your reply!

Well if the opening line is "Call out the instigator because there's
something in the air" then it was undoubtedly Thunderclap Newman circa
1969.

| Talking 'bout coincidences ...
I've done a lot of searching for the original sanger of 'Something in
the air'. Finally I got the answer from you noters, as I saw a
commercial on MTV for the album 'Our Generation' on which was included.
The last few days I heard the song twice on our local pop station.

I seem to remember that the pianist in the group (who played that quite
avante garde, for then, solo) was an ageing postman who, at the time, was
still employed by the UK Post Office! Actually, he appeared to be old
to me then but in all honesty he was probably the age I am now!
Depressing!

Good old performance. Don't miss it when you've the chance to go to
another concert! A real strip-tease show while singing Lady Nina (not
that that's the reason it was good, but remarkable).

| Dear All, (that is if any one still reads this one)
For all your information, Fish is playing the Town &
Country Club, London on 22nd & 23rd February 1993. I
don't know yet who, if at all anyone is supporting him.
Cheers
Dave
