| Are you sure this is correct? Michael Nyman usually writes the music
for Peter Greenaways films.

890.2 | Maybe it's a Nyman tax fiddle?! | FORTY2::ASH | Grahame Ash @REO | Mon Aug 19 1991 14:54 | 4 |
| And if you just listened, you'd swear it was a Nyman soundtrack - but
apparently not.

| Thats interesting, because I thought it sounded 'Nymanesuqe', but not
as flowing/circular as usual. I shall try and check up tonight.

| Having checked the tape, it definitely was Wim Meterns who composed the
music; also, it was performed by the London Sinfonietta.

WIM MERTENS !!!
And indeed the CD is called " Belly of an Architect".
I have it one CD and one of the most beautifull songs is "Close Cover".

| I eventually tracked the s/track down in Tower Records in Piccadilly
Circus. Even though the 'Your' Price assistant tried to order me the
CD, Tower Records informed that it was only released on vinyl! Anyway -
I think its an excellent LP.

| Well...it just goes to show you...even Tower "Music" have drongos
behind the counter!
If anyone is _still_ interested, there is a CD and its in Tower at the
moment.
H
PS...I thought that Tower would have a good stock of vinyl..don't you
believe it. As for the ever so helpful people behind the
counter..well, after asking for "Magic And Loss" on vinyl, and was
asked "who's that by.." ...I gave up!
