In addition to the various publications that exist (minus the defunct
ones, I'll get to that) and people I've been in touch with I thought
it wouldn't hurt to ask what shows are in the London vicinity during
the time frame of June 9th through 13th.
As for the shows I would be interested in anything from 4AD'ish,
Thames Valley'ish (Sweredriver, Slowdive, Chapterhouse, etc.) some
specifics being Sylvia Juncosa, Bevis Frond, Siouxsie... to
anyone from SubPopish land...And even some dinosaur of rock types.
As for the publication ROCK around the WORLD it used to contain
world-wide listings of shows but the rising/unexpected costs to
produce it have forced them to discontinue it.
At the present time their North America Alternative Record Store
Map is still available. It probably won't tell you anything you
don't know that exist in your general vicinity but for other parts
of the country it's pretty handy and definitely handy for anyone
visiting the states.
