| I don't know anything about them, but that track was a hit here about
five years (I'm guessing) ago...

| Many years ago, they changed their name from Huang Chung (Chinese for
'Yellow Bell'), after having no chart success at all with the mighty
'Isn't It About Time They Were On TV?'. They also, to my mind, geared
their sound much more to the US market.

| Dance Hall Days had a great video, and was a small hit in Paris in
October 1986. But the song is from much earlier than that, from
Huang Chung rather than Wang Chung days. 1983/4 maybe. While I was
still in London, anyway.

They had a minor hit in 1982 with a song called "China",which I think,
was their first single. "Dance Hall Days" was a hit in 1983.(Or was it
late '82).

| They also had a single of the `To Live and Die in LA' soundtrack which they
did most of. I think they wound up doing a couple other soundtracks as well.
