Er, how can I put this?
There seems to be good things said about this band ("Look sharp" good, etc) in
here, but from the two singles that I've noticed I don't think much of them.
The na-na-na-na-na one (The look?) was OK, but I think that the current one
(Joyride?) one is positively awful ("Hello, you fool I love you" - ugh!)
Is "look sharp" radically different & really good, or is it just a matter of
differing tastes. I ask so that I'll know whether to buy or not (not to cause
trouble, peace-loving soul that I am).

P.S. Just so that you're not embarrassed to admit liking Roxette, I like the
Bangles, so there. :-)

| I like the Bangles too...
"The Look" is, in my opinion, a great song. I also like "Joyride".
Maybe that says something about me... I suspect that if neither of
those singles really appealed then the rest of the "Look Sharp" album
won't either. Sounds like differing tastes to me..

Yes, the new album is out, I picked it up last night. I've only
listened to it once, but the songs seem just as good as their first.
If you liked the first album, it's worth getting.

| Just in case you're interested, Roxette are at Wembly on October 19th.
I was able to get tickets on Saturday for the second row in the arena,
block B (second block back). I think they should be pretty good seats:
if you want to see Roxette now would be a good time to get ticks..

the version of It must have been love on the album is fab. What does
anyone think of the latest single release Almost unreal taken form the

| I saw on MTV last night that Roxette have a new single out, and an album soon.
Anyone have any ideas about when they are released??
Also, Marie has shaved her hair somewhat short!!!!!

they may be in the UK around September time.. :->
Their new album isn't as good as the others... I like Joyride the
best... I like every song on the album & thats usually quite rare! :->
