    Does anyone know anything about the band Eat? They were supposed to be
    supporting James recently, but the night I saw James there was a strong
    rumour that Eat had split. Since then, they have denied this rumour.
    
    Never having heard them, I don't know if Eat were the support that
    night, as the band who were on were unannounced and very
    uncommunicative. All I can remember about them is that after about ten
    minutes I needed to find the bar pretty quickly. They were a guitar
    player, bassist, drummer (who also operated the drum machine and what
    sounded like bits of keyboard on tape) and a totally bald singer, and
    they played a kind of crappy, leaden indie funk, but.......were they Eat??
