    Does anyone know the music that goes with the new Peugeuot advert?
    You know, the one where the guy drives the car through the wilds
    and mountains and then through the smog of the town.  And 
    everything outside the car is going twice the speed of the car?

    I don't know the exact ad you mean, but Berlin's `Take My Breath Away'
    is often used by Peugeot.

    Oh for goodness sake!   No, no no, the NEW peugeuot advert for the 
    605, or 609 or whatever type of car it is.

    A new Ford commercial showing the escort riding through a very modern
    shaped town and parking tower,then driving on somesort of highway where
    you see other gray shaped boxes suposing to cars.....remeber??
    
    well,that tune used in that is what I'm looking for...I have asked the
    company who arranges TV airtime for commercials,but no luck yet.

Well, if no-one else is brave enough . . .

I think the Peugeot ad is backed by music by Smetana - Vltava, from Ma Vlast 
(My Country).

Wonder if it'll be out as a single . . .

    There's a Ford Orion commercial that starts with a car in a modernish
    city and drives out on a highway using "Take 5" as the music. Not
    the Dave Brubeck original, but could be George Benson's cover version-
    nice guitar work.

    I read somewhere that the composer was indeed Smetana..although what

    As far as i know Smetana is a modern classical composer of the early
    part of the century. He's probably dead by now.
    He was a contemporary of Edgar Varese, i think.
