    Anyone know the group/track which is used as the music for the
    Kronebourg 1664 advert - the one with the younger and older man talking
    about football and the younger one's wedding the following day.  It has
    a northern "folk" flavour and I may be reduced to taping the advert if
    I can't get hold of a copy!

    I think it's about the third time someone has mentioned that particular
    ad (me being one of them).  I think it's got to be worth talking to
    someone in Kronenbourg's publicity department.  I think they'll be only
    too glad, especially as it shows that their advertising is working.

         It is brewed under license by Courage in the U.K.(thought you or
    Chris.W. would have known that one)

    Well, I just phoned their head office in Staines and the Marketing
    Department is going to get back to me.  As they say, as soon as I know,

    Well, bad news I'm afraid.  Apparently the music was recorded by
    session musicians especially for the ad and lasts only as long as the
    add does.  I told the girl from Courage's that many people here had
    asked about the song and she said that they had been inundated by
    people asking about it.....So.....
    
    If anyone wants to give them a call, the phone number is in the note
    title (If this isn't OK Keith, just reset the title).
    
    Hopefully with a bit of pressure, they may think about releasing
    something.
