Having had a copy of "There She Goes" for some time and loving all 4 tracks I noticed that they have released their 3rd single this week. Has anybody heard it yet (single of the week in NME). Also in Q there was an advert for Bee Bees mail order and they list a La's CD, well knowing that they haven't released an album before I presumed this was the album that all the world had been waiting for, except I checked back on old issues of Q and can't find any review. Has anyone out there heard about an album from these Liverpool lads? Stuart

Last I heard The La's had split up after defering release for their
new album quite a few times.
I've a friend who's really into the La's ( he had visions of "There
she goes" being written about a girl he adored at the time ) so I'll
get in touch with him.
I liked most of the stuff they did and saw them in Leeds sometime last
year and I thought they were pretty good.
