| Mike D'Abo was indeed in Manfred Mann. I think he replaced Paul Jones
(or was it the other way round?).
I never heard of Murray Head before or since. There was a rendition of
Jesus Christ Superstar (title track) on the TV a month or so ago and I
could have sworn the singer was Murray Head. Turned out it was Paul
Nicholas.

Murray Head cropped up in Chess didn't he?
I'm sure he had a hit with 'One night in Bangcock' or whatever it was
called.

re .-1: Yup.
One of the guitarists was Henry Mucolloch (sp?). Does anyone know for
sure if he was the same H.M. that played in Wings w/ Paulie for a while?
The H.M. w/ Paul is on _Red_Rose_Speedway_ and can be seen in the vid for
"My Love."
.0 mentioned that he had heard of Barry Dennen. I haven't. What else
has he done?

| Murray Head also had a hit with "Say it ain't so, joe".
Re-1. Yes, it was the same Henry McCullough. He joined Wings in January
82 and also continued as a session player (JCS, Spooky Tooth, Carol
Grimes etc). He seemed to disapear for a while before playing with
Roxy Music and later Bryan Ferry.

726.5 | it was Jimmy McCullough, wasn't it? | NAVIER::STARR | SRV.....I can't believe you're gone....... | Tue Sep 04 1990 17:09 | 3 |

Yes and No.
I mean both, but Henry didn't stay for very long, and Jimmy died.

| Barry Dennen was the person who inspired Barbra Streisand to
sing "Cry me a River" in the early sixties. He was her manager
in the years before she made it big...What he's done besides
JCS is a mystery to me....
