| Hi there...just ordered my tix last week. If you want , I'll post the
number of the agencies here tomorrow.
Rathole time - tix for this gig are only available thru agencies. I
object to having to use agencies because the booking fee is usually
drastic. This time wasn't so bad, only 2.50 on top of the tix price,
but I have been charged a third a s much again for the tix.

| All the main agencies advertise in the NME every week, around the gig
guide and live reviews normally.

| I've been told that the CURE's gig at the Christal Palace Bowl had
been cancelled. Does anybody have anymore info? The last advert
in NME contained "james" and "All About Eve" as support. It would
be a shame if it was cancelled.

| Its not a hang over from last weeks NME jokes about cancelled concerts
is it? They did a really funny article, one paragraph of which was
devoted to a cancelled Cure concert due to Robbo fancying going out and
getting pissed with his mates then watching some videos. A sisters of
Mercy fan actually believed that they had cancelled a gig due to an
outbreak of Atheletes Foot. some people!

| Hi
Well I managed to get hold of some tickets from some dodgy agency in
London at 26 quid a shot !
If its cancelled I will probably burn every Cure record that I can lay
my hands on !

| HOW MUCH!!!!!!!
I thought 17 was a bit much, but 26 quid for one ticket. Can I meet
you on the day just to hold a ticket that cost that much...;-)

PS Bruce is gonna be there!!

Mike, for 26 quid a throw, I'd expect Springsteen on the bill, too.

| I just checked an NME from a couple of weeks back, and there was
a joke about the Cure gig being cancelled. (V. Funny HA HA). BUT
I did notice that this weeks NME hasn't got an advert for the gig...

seriously tho, it would have been announced if the show was cancelled.
I shouldn't worry.

| I dunno ... After I bought the tickets I began to second thoughts !
I've never seen The Cure before (Well only The Cure in Orange thingy on
the box) does anyone have any good/really bad comments about them ?
What about the support bands as well (All about Eve, James and Lush)
are they much cop ?!

| James - worth the admission price for them alone. live, they will blow
The Cure from the stage. probably.
The Cure - always a great live show - get right down the front.
Lush - nice and noisy indoors, bit worried about the out of doors
sound.
All about Eve - time to get some food.
only niggly points - sound at outdoor gigs is variable. Also, should i
drive to Crystal Palace - anyone know anything about this?? If I go by
train, I will probablyy have to leave before the end of The Cures set.
But I guess CP will be solid with traffic on a saturday lunchtime?
