Don't know if this is the notesfile for it but I'll give it a try anyway. I'm singing in a quire and next month we'll sing the song "We'll meet again" of Very Lynn. It is part of the celebration for 45 years after World War II. A number of British veterans are joining this day too. I'm looking for the music on paper so that a local band (brass instruments and some wooden ones, don't know the word for such an orchestra) can participate. They are willing to do so IF they can get hold of the music. So in stead of looking in my own country, why not trying Vera Lynn's country right away?? Any suggestion very welcome, Hans Dingemans. Posted in SUBURB::MUSICIANS_UK as well.

Hi Hans! We are both Dutch, but since the majority of the readers is English, we'll better keep it in English!!! Can't you better try to get the music here in Holland? There are so many shops who have that sort of things... Not that I have experience in buying it, but since you haven't had any replies yet, I just want to say this! I know two shops here in Utrecht which I think have loads of music on paper. If you want, I can always give you a phone number orso?? Good luck with it!! Ilse. |
