| What *is* sung in the blank below? (Perhaps the Springsteen version is
clearer, I haven't heard it).
"Blinded by the light.......runner in the night"

I believe in muscles (as apose to miracles)......
Perhaps, she was right ?

"I believe in MILKO", for a while..

Very often the lyric you think you hear IS actually what is being sung.
But when you look at record lyrics or sheet music you find that its
written down differently. Its almost as if the artist in question has
changed a line at the actual recording after the lyrics etc have gone
to print. I could list numerous examples of this and sometimes wonder
whether there is some reason for it to do with copy right or something.
It just seems to be so consistently deliberate.
Anyway can anyone help with the following Fleetwood Mac lyrics...
1 - Man of the World, the line that goes 'I've flown across every
?????'. What is that word? Tide?
2 - Need Your Love So Bad, the line that goes 'Oh when the night
begins, ??????, because I need your love so bad'. What IS that phrase?

| I often think that it is not the artist who produces the lyrics on the
sleeve, but someone who sits and listens like we do, then writes them
down. I know it sounds a bit strange, but that is the impresion I get.

| For the T'Pau LP `Bridge Of Spies' the lyrics were printed up before
the songs were finished. Therefor you get the words to the demo.

ps. I thought it was `I believe in Malcolm'

| Can U Help? (Cor I'm like Prince already!)
Malcolm Maclaren's `Something Jumpin In Your Shirt'. I have the 12"
and one side id ungrooved (ie. the record is one sided) and is etched
with the title of the record and the artist. The sleeve has a hole in
the middle so you can see the label. What I want to know is; Is this
the standard release or is it limited edition?
