I will be in the Manchester area between about the 9th and 15th/16th
of April. Can anyone suggest any hot groovy places to go and catch
live bands? Any ideas who might be playing up there at the time??
Cheers
Bob

Hi there,
Don't know many 'hot and groovy places' but I can suggest 'sweaty and
seady' places.
The International I, Anson Road: Live Bands no particular genre
eg, Bangles, Deacon Blue, Nanci
Griffiths...
The International II, : Similar stuff
The Students Union, University of Manchester, : Trendy bands
Band on the Wall and a few others that I can't remember.
No idea what may be playing at the time though.
Sam.
