602.1 | Now hear this, now hear this... | SHAPES::BROWNM | Eee, it's grand up north | Mon Feb 12 1990 12:56 | 16 |
| I saw it! I got up early enough (for once - 11.30 is early for me at
weekends)
I've heard the track `Sometimes' a few times and haven't thought much
of it, but now it's beginning to grow on me - just like fungus.
Record Mirror said the LP was crap and gave it 2 out of 5.
I have the first single, `The Way Of The World', and think it's great.
All the `rags' said what a crime it would be if the single flopped and
I agree, it really is good. It is in the same mold as the `Sometimes'
being a crossover House/Rock sort of thing. The b-side is crap though
- all drums and a bass guitar.

MAX Q is a band that michael hutchence is working with while INXS
is on 'hold'.
It's primarily a 'project' with a guy called Ollie Olsen, who
wrote the song. He's the other member.

602.3 | Sometimes Single | SUBURB::DODDINGTONC | | Fri Feb 23 1990 13:48 | 10 |
| I heard the Max Q single "Sometimes" about two months ago whilst I was
in Australia and thought it was one of the best things Micheal
Hutchence has done. Apparantly the 12 inch remix is brilliant and one
to be heard loud.
With regard to the previous release "way of the world", the B side
"Zero to Zero" is a really good dance instrumental that you should
check out.
