| The track you are talking about is called 'The Supernatural'.
It was written and played by Peter Green who replaced EC in the
Bluesbreakers when Eric left to form Cream. It appears on Mayall's
album 'Hard Road' which also features John McVie and Ainsley Dunbar.
(Peter Green and John McVie went on to form Fleetwood Mac with Mick
Fleetwood and Jeremy Spencer)
This album should still be available although it's 23 years old, I have
seen it in the shops. If you need it I can give you the catalogue no.
It is still one of my all-time favourite albums.
BTW the rest of the album is excellent if you like blues with some more
superb guitar work by Green.

| Great..
Its at times like this that you are reminded that there are guitarists
and great guitarists. The GREAT ones are those that stand out even when
you've no idea who's playing if you see what I mean.
I've always admired Pete Green but had absolutely NO idea this was him
or that he'd had anything to do with John Mayall. I remember the same
sort of thing when discovering (via this NOTES file) that the BBC
Snooker theme (superb funky guitar) was in fact Clapton (The Core).
I'm also reminded of hearing some superb guitar work on a Christopher
Cross album and then looking closely at the album credits some tiime
later and realising it was Larry Carlton.
If there's more Pete Green on this album I shall seriously investigate.
Cheers
