What _IS_ the name of that Barclay James Harvest song? The one where X wakes up in the morning and "there's an emptyness by my side you had gone with the morning" then... "walked down the street with no name to the club called the loser.. took the club elevator to the floor with the view.. took out life subscription (its the only one they do) . . . "stepped out on the ledge.. saw the crowd slowly part heard a voice cry ""Dont jump! for gods sake let me move my car"" and then someone pushes him off the high ledge (nice uplifting song eh?) I'am asking the name of the song because I found a tape of BJH in the loft (while getting the Xmass decorations out) and it had this song on it (the tape dates back about 10 years! ...but no title What was it called??

In answer to your question....... The track is called "Suicide" (belive it or not !) and it comes from the album "Octoberon" released in 1976. I've got a copy of the track on a greatest hits CD.....doesn't he make a hell of a splat when he hits the ground. Anyway, must get off to lunch now :-) Jez | |||||

What else would it be called !!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) Thanks for looking it up RE: "spat.." I seem to vaguely remember multiple versions of this track.. eg full sound effects (crowd voices etc.. lift whine.. etc) as well as the 'straight' song version thanks for the title!!! |
