    Along the same lines....

    Does anyone have any idea of who's playing at the Odeon, Town
    Hall or the Hippodrome between Aug 24 and Sep 12??

    Thanks chaps and chapesses!

447.16Oops!HYEND::SCHILTONWhen they said sit down,I stood upWed Aug 16 1989 21:381
    ...in Birmingham, of course!
447.17This is an ex-venue,it is no more...WOTVAX::GILLILANDPThu Aug 17 1989 15:097
    Won't be many people playing at The Odeon I'm afraid - it's a six
    screen cinema now. You'll also be lucky to catch any decent groups
    at the other venues you mentioned - try The Hummingbird,The Powerhouse,
    Digbeth Irish Centre,thats all I can think of now, I don't live
    there anymore.

    Phil.
447.18Hmmm...Powerhouse, huh?HYEND::SCHILTONWhen they said sit down,I stood upFri Aug 18 1989 00:167

    Oh God, have things changed *that* much in 18 mos? I'm sure the
    Odeon was doing live concerts then and I went to the Hippodrome
    back in '86 ... but I do remember the Hummingbird and Digbeth
    Irish Center being mentioned.

    Thanks Phil
