I saw them five years ago at Brighton, and they were good then. They
were also good at taking the P out of the bouncers, who wanted everyone
to sit down. "We're the Everly Brothers, not punk rockers!"

Is Albert Lee still guitaring for them? He's one of the best
    country/rock pickers around.

Well I was so enthusiastic about them after the concert that I went out
and bought the video of their 'return concert' in 1983. I have to
admit to having drooled over it all last night! the guitarist who was
standing behind them in this concert (with longish grey hair) is the
same one they still have. I think it is Albert Lee but would have to
check the credits at the end of the video, which means I have to play
    it again

    no problem.

The bouncers at Reading Hexagon were also ensuring people sat down even
though only about two or three people were involved. All a bit
conservative considering some of the lively numbers they perform.

I have to admit to having 'grown up' with the Everly Bros. music but
this is the first time I had seen them. It was a real trip down the
lane of nostalgia..... I felt rejuvenated!

I saw them 18 months ago at the Hexagon and I go along with everything
said so far. Albert Lee was their guitarist then.

Like most live performances though they suffered from being swamped
by their backing band at times. When they just performed with no
backing band was when their true quality shone through.
