Where are they now??? - The Monks?
The Monks used to be around in 1981 when their 2 nd Lp
"Suspended Animation" was released, but since then - ??????
Does anybody know anything about this band?

Both Lp's are quite humourous with such songs as "Love in Stereo",
"Drugs in My Pocket", "Nice Legs, Shame about the Face", etc., etc.
I'd be interested to hear what anybody has heard about these guys.

As far as I know, the Monks were formed by 2 former members of the
Strawbs...possibly Hudson / Ford

Yes, two of the members (of The Monks) were Hudson and Ford, but I
didn't know they belonged to The Strawbs! I've heard of The Strawbs,
but don't much about them either ... the plot thickens.

The Strawbs started in the late sixties; they were led by
singer/guitarist Dave Cousins. In their early days they featured
a keyboard player, one Mr. Rick Wakeman.
