    ok, here's an up-date:

In 1990, Harvest/EMI released a complilation CD 'Raiding the Divine
    Archive'. It's not too bad.

However, once all the Be-Bop and Bill Nelson fans had bought it, they
then released every Be-Bop Deluxe LP on CD!! Each disc with three extra
tracks -- except 'Live! In the Air Age' which featured the original
releases EP tracks as the extra tracks.

They are budget priced -- around 8.00 pounds -- and very good indeed.

If you are a real afficionado, then you NEED to buy 'Raiding The Divine
Archive' to make sure you get a CD version of the classic single
    'Japan'.

A lot of Nelson's solo stuff is available on CD, either through Cocteau
Records or as imports. The later are VERY expensive, but at the moment
its the only way to get Red Noise's 'Sound on Sound' or Nelson's 'Quit
    Dreaming...'.

Bill's latest release is 'Luminous'. It's on CD and it's on the
Imaginary record label. Again, its not bad, although it does have a
"demo" feel to it. Some good guitar work and a couple of really nice
    tunes.

    Regards,
    Terry B.
