| Swindon, oh yes! Jewel of Wiltshire, and home of the mighty XTC!
BTW, don't go to the Marquee in Wardour Street - it's moved!
It's now located in the Charing Cross Road.

| i apogize for my typing in .5 .
i was joking about Swindon. Thats why it's there. But they do have
a nice holiday inn there and the area is pretty. Its off the beaten
tourist track.
you can even meet british rock stars there! (XTC). but it would
be very rude to bother them. I'm sure you can at least drive by
their house there. 8^)
seriously, i hope you enjoy your trip.

| re: last
was he a noisy neighbor? Does he live in a dump?
Andy Partridge was saying in a magazine article that he does not
own the house he lives in. He had only 300 pounds in the bank before
Oranges and Lemons came out. He said he hated doing a follow up
album to Skylarking because he didn't want to take his toy soldiers
and the war games table down to set his Demo recording equipment
in his attic. i thought i was the only one with these problems!
Just remember, there are two kinds of people in the UK: Those that
live in Swindon and those that wish they did. :-)

| I don't know if this is the right place for this, but you'll like
this one, anyway, Jay....
In last month's Making Music, a free muso-rag, Andy Partridge said,
in a self-penned article, that he'd like to do an lp of old XTC
songs rearranged for a marching band.
I think it might just work! Bomp, Bomp, Ooompah, Oompah! Generals
and majors a-ha! Neon Shuffle! Sergeant Rock! Senses Working Overtime!
This is Pop!!
I can hear it now.
