Hi there,
	want to have a wild time on saturday evening (17th)?  The rock band
that Pete Evans and I are members of is playing at Hattons near Cemetery
Junction (from about 8:30 onwards).  ADMISSION IS FREE!!!  (We normally charge
�11.50 a ticket in the cheap seats, but we thought we'd make a concession for
our mates!)

	Quite a few of you said you'd come and see us when we played Reading,
so here's your chance!  In fact it might be your last chance for a while as
one/two of our members may be leaving to go back up north!  So, we'll be
selling `The Ridge - End of the road tour' T-shirts, sweat-shirts and badges
at the gig.  You can wear them at `The Ridge - we're not dead yet' tour
sometime in the new year... :-)

THE BAND:  We're called `The Ridge', there are five of us, and we play music
	   from rock'n'roll to Dire Straits, Bon Jovi, Meatloaf, etc.  You'd
	   have to have really unusual musical tastes NOT to like at least
	   some (if not all) of the numbers we do.  We normally play around
	   Didcot/Abingdon/etc. areas as the rest of the band live that way.
	   If you want to know what Pete and play, you'll have to come and
	   see...

HATTONS:   It is a pub just opposite Cemetery Junction (where the A4 crosses
	   the A329 going towards Wokingham).  Admission is free, and you don't
	   need to worry too much about hireing a dinner jacket...  The place
	   is quite lively and it has bands on very regularly.

Hope you can come along.  We'll start around 8:30, and apart from a short
break in the middle, we'll be on until around closing time,
