I've seen Chris De Burgh walkin' across the car park at Dublin
airport.
I've seen a car seat that once cradled Nick Kershaws' bum.
I've seen an arm with David Bowies autograph on it.
I've seen a band where the singer had a lisp.
I've seen a man with his hair shaved like Peter Gabriels in his
early Genesis days.
I've seen Wilko Johnston do a guitar solo standing still.
I've seen a guitarist play a solo on a length of rubber hose stuck
down his tights.
I've seen the bass player in The News move.
I've seen Sabrina with her boobs IN.
I've seen Jan Ackerman (Focus) make a complete bottom of himself
at the Apollo in Glasgow.
I've seen people stay awake at a Richard Clayderman concert.
I've seen people keep a straight face at an Alexander brothers
concert.
I've seen Mick Donnelly "play" the drums.
Cheers,mcbill(who_was_getting_a_bit_fed_up_with_this_contest)
ps. Only some of the above are true...

Tell me, how did Jan Akkerman make a 'complete bottom' of himself,
regardless of where it was.
One more to add to that list....
Ive seen Elton John do a gig dressed in jeans and T shirt (him not
me)
Bob.

Re: .19 & Jan Akkerman,I can't remember the song but it was the
greatest thing since sliced bread at the time......it starts with
the keyboards doing a long intro piece and then jan the man comes
in with some hot guitar, however, jan the man wasn't quite ready this
time and he runs over to the keyboards player (yip, him with the
funny high voice) and moves his arms like a windmill to say "Just
go around again, bigfla'",the second time approached and jan the
man wasn't ready again, repeat re above windmill, repeat re above
not ready, and by this time the Glasgow crowd are shouting "Why have
I paid good money to see this carry-on ?" or words to that effect....
..this round and round the houses went on about 4 times...with jan
the man getting a LOT of stick from the home crowd and eventually
going in the huff with the whole business.
Re:.17 ...he plays drums as well.....I must admit I was a bit generous
with the phrase "plays" but he was getting a co-ordinated noise
from them.......actually talking about "Who Have You Seen ?" I once
saw the man in question buy a round totally without pressure or
persuasion from his mates, its one of those things that you know
have happened but seems so unreal that sometimes you think it is
a dream.
Yours cordially,mcbill
