    arranged some Friday night?

	Okay lets try again,

Myself and a quite a few friends will be out in the same venues
as posted before ( Turks Head and/or Boozy Blues Bar followed by The
After Dark Club) on Friday 21st October.

If any one feels like coming along or just saying hello we'll be out
around 8.30 ish. I'll probably be wearing my usual Luftwaffe coat, jeans
etc and possibly even my *BRAND NEW* DEChead T-Shirt.

	 						See ya there,

I've just caught onto the READING conf. and therefore just found
out about POETS, and what they are. I think it would be fun to
meet some of you folks and talk about what you think in your opinion
is crap, or what you think is good even....though most seem to want
to talk about things they think in their opinion are crap.

Also, I can't understand why the Turks Head can be used as a meeting
place for this sort of thing. It is so busy and noisy how on earth
do you manage to talk to people?

Anyway, thats my opinion. Are we gonna have a uk_music meets reading
poets booze up in some quiet establishment somewhere.

Busy, Noisy pubs should be the creative environment that all good Poets
members strive for... Plus there is also a better chance of meeting
a few loose bits off fluff.

Poets is open to all - see SUBURB::READING note 4.*

223.10Quite logical Really ...45466::STONEDown in the lair, well I met her thereTue Oct 18 1988 13:389
The reason for choosing the "noisy" Turks Head / Boozy Blues Bar /
After Dark is that the Turks Head has the *BEST* beer in Reading (and
bits of fluff) ; Boozy Blues Bar has the only Live Music you don't have
to pay for and The After Dark is the only place to hear decent Live
	Blues on a regular basis.
