...who would offer their services to the Reading Rats (Really
Amateur Theatre Society)? This is a Digital amateur dramatic group
based in Reading, and they plan their first production for December
15,16 and 17, and they would like to hear from any musicians who
    may want to get involved.

Contact me by mail if interested.

Well, I've had an offer from a bass guitarist; other than that
we could do with keyboards, drums, guitars - in fact, anything!
    What can you offer?

    OK!
        Slight amendment to Kedmunds' note!
The show we are doing is a Comedy Revue, with some all-time comedy
classics, Pete & Dud, Monty Python, etc. Also a few sketches written
by a group from St. Albans called The Wallys.
The show is going to be staged at The Progress Theatre,in Reading,
and is(appropriately), named The Wally And The Ivy.
We are looking for a few good musicians is the area to form a
band for this show. We want a good pianist, bass, guitar, keyboards,
and a DRUMMER.We'd like a real variety of music, Elton John, Heart,
    all sorts really.

Thanks to all who replied to our note re. RRATS music (Rat Music
    alla Boomtown Rats?)
We *do* still need you all! Our music person will be in touch
in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, have a think about
what you'd like to do (within reason!), and dig out any sheet music
    if you've got any.

We are STILL looking for a keyboard player and a singer to complete
the band for the Reading RRATS forthcoming production. The music
will in the R&B/Rock/Blues vein (e.g. Blues Brothers, Straits, ZZ-Top).
Any one who is interested, please contact me by mail or reply to
note 18 in the ALONE::RRATS conference.

    Also...

ANY SAX PLAYERS OUT THERE ? Some of the music that we are thinking
about doing requires a sax (or two). If you are interested, please
    get in touch.

The theme of the show now, loosely, as we have to link the sketches
in some way, is `All's fair in Love And WAR', so if the music can
reflect at least something of that, then all well and good.

181.13CHEFS::DALLISONThats some catch that Katch 22Mon May 22 1989 14:0013

Katch 22 has had some line-up problems so we are now in dire need
of a bass player, a drummer and singer (in other words Katch 22
consists of two guitarists 8^) ). We are (or were!) a rock influenced
band (Ozzy, WASP, Tesla, Guns N Roses, Metallica influenced).

Now theres a Katch - (pun intended!) we are in Reading, UK.

Anyone interested mail me on the above or ring me on 7-830-3218.

    Cheers,
-Tony Dallison (Katch 22 co-lead guitarist)
