wasn't on a Berlin album.

The track appears on the Berlin album "Count three and Pray"
(I may have got the title wrong - will check tonight). The album
features loads of guest musicians including Dave Gilmore who plays
a blistering guitar solo on the final track "Pink & Violet" (might
have got this name wrong as well !).

Mark,
"Count Three & Pray" *is* available as a CD. The track
listing is exactly the same as on vinyl and cassette (no
extras, awwwwwww shame....). "Take My Breath Away" is like
no other song on the album, since it wasn't written by Berlin
at all, but by Giorgio Moroder (rumour has it he wanted Donna
Summer to sing, but the record moguls overruled him), so be
warned, the rest of the album is rather rocky, even rather
*raunchy*, compared to the hit single. It's a good collection
of music overall though. The British band T'pau have a very
similar style to Berlin, so that's another album you might
check (if you like "Count Three...."), "Bridge of Spies" is
the title.
The "Pink and Violet" song is, in fact, called "Pink and Velvet",
a fairly anthemic closing number.

| Also on the Top Gun ST is an instrumental by Steve Stevens that
is pretty good. I think it's called Top Gun Theme, or something
like that (how original, huh 8^) ).
