| I bought INTO THE LIGHT. How does this rate as a Chris de Burgh
album? Apart from Lady in Red and Fatal Hesitation, I think the rest of
it is banal and cliche-ridden and generally immemorable.
Hows that for a controversial reply!! Actually, I'm serious.

Can someone please tell me the following;
i) The title of the track which has the following lyrics somewhere
in it;
WE cannot live together, but we cannot live apart...
The title has the words Heart and Head in it. Not really helpful I know
but I would appreciate any ideas. I saw the track on video in the Middle
East a couple of times and thought it right special but can't for the life
of me remember wot its called.
ii) The LP/CD on which I might find the aforementioned piece of music.
Many thanks in anticipation

Rich,
The song you're quoting from is in fact called "The
Head & The Heart" (I think...!). It's on the "Man On The Line"
album, which was released to celebrate 12 years of Chris De Burgh's
association with A&M records. A *great* album it is too.

A lot of CDeB's stuff could me called ordinary but he as written
some great stuff. My fav - Patricia The Stripper. Great one
to play at parties. His performance on Self-Aid (Irish Aid Show)
was the best of the day, outshining even U2 in my view. I think
Lonley Skies is his best!

'Lets stick in a room together'
'And make them fight it out'
'Until they see that'
'Nothing from nothing will leave nothing at all'

I don't actually own any of his records, but I ventured out
to see him about 18 months ago...........
His backing group were polished and consisted of v. established
muscicians, although he is not pretty to look at he could teach
an awful lot of groups a thing or to about entertainment. Spanish
Train live was tremendous, I would reccomend to anyone for a good
night out. You'll enjoy yourself, even if your girlfriend 'dumps'
you as he walks on stage !
