Two bands worth catching tonight:
The Shamen - of "Happy Days" fame/notoriety
The Heart-Throbs
Robbed in Rome
All at After Dark, London Street, Reading
I'll be there, anyone else?

Well folks, I regret having to report that *neither* of the
aforementioned bands turned up!
The promoter slipped in a local outfit "Yea Jazz" as the headliners
and they weren't much good notwithstanding that they only played
for 45min.
Apparently the Shamen cancelled (wonder if it was anything to do
with their Beer Ad soundtrack "Happy days" being pulled by the Brewery
- Youngers, I believe - spilling into their tour) and the Heartthrobs
wouldn't support anybody else. Judging by the output of Yea Jazz,
I don't blame 'em.
Boo Hoo!
