Well Sorry to inform you Daz,
The bands down at the Forbury Festival were more layed back than the music
you are more familiar with, I didn't stop long as I had a lot of things to
do, but when I was there a band called Kramizar (i think) were playing...and
not bad by my reconing.
Now every one who is reading this note/reply please go down there - READING
groups need your support! ELSE occasions like this will get even further and
fewer between.
Seya there (hopefully) =;-)
\Andy
PS. Daz do you know what Pete's node address is? (I mean the pete from the
ol dayz!)

| -< I went, I listened, I left >-
Went to last Saturdays, and thought it was nae bad apart from the
"Broom cupboard" mix {you could barely hear the vocals}.
'Jim Jimminie' were the best of the bunch with the Sax being
particularly good. A pretty tight outfit.
Everybody else {the bands that is} were so-so apart from some guys
(the announcements didn't seem to mention the bands name) who sounded
vaguely early Cure-ish and had lead singer that was off-key.
I enjoyed it, but since I'm the only Noter to post review, did anybody
else go?
Or are we all Vinyl Afficiandos?

78.4 | bl**dy weather! | SUBURB::DANCEA | Hacking is my business... | Mon Jun 06 1988 10:48 | 22 |
| I was there, and it was raining!
Saturday was the last weekend of the Forbury Festival. I went down to see if
anyone was going to turn up (as the weather was so off putting).
Fortunately it seemed quite a few people had also gone down to see if anyone
else was going ;-)
I only saw one band this week, and incidently it was the only band I really
like over the 3 weeks, these were "R.D.F" (Radical Dance Faction), with
Chris (lead singer) and his girl friend on vocals.
I quite enjoyed sitting under a tree, listening to some "white" reggae with
loads of other people, even though it kept on raining.
Well all I can hope is that the weather improves for all of the other
festivals comming up soon.
BTW (By The Way), Is Anyone out there going to "Burning Spear" at the Old
Town Hall this Thursday?
If you want tickets let me know before wednesday.
\Andy
