    Hello out there all you GOOD Music lovers, okay, okay...I'm talking
    to myself again.
    
    I have heard through the grape-vine that there is a 2 or 3 day FREE
    Festival going down at OXFORD this weekend. Does anyone know the
    details about it, or have I been given wrong information?
    
    I was also told that Hawkwind (fav's of mine) are suposed to be
    at this Venue...So any help in finding more about it would be most

	I saw Hawkwind a couple of weeks back at the Odeon (Hammersmith) and Dave Brock anounced that they would be playing a free fezzie at Oxford. As to when I don't think he said. Judging by the amount of trouble Oxford had last year getting a site I would imagine they will keep it under wraps until the last minute though. B.T.W. Oxford is/was a venue on their recent tour and the show is worth every penny. bye bye now....... Jez

	Yeah thats likely...i have got in touch with a few friends who know some of the organisers, so hopefully I shall have more details soon. But as you say, it's likey to be kept under raps untill the very last minute so the police don't get wind of it, like they did 2 years ago. Well I hope it goes down, as I can't wait to see Hawkwind again.. Anyone see 'em and Finsbury Parks ACID-DAZE last year? BBFN \Andy

	I have been informed by a reliable contact that the Oxford Festival has been canceled due to interferance by the police. Well that seems to have put a stop to the fesy! \Andy_who_is_watching_out_very_closely_for_the_next_one_;-)
