Can anyone provide a discography and associated info for Then Jerico?
Whatever happened to them? Another One Hit Wonder?
Ian!

Anyone got any news on the Amnesty concert at Milton Keynes?
I keep missing out on the music press lately and haven't heard anything
for a while. Last I heard Joe Strummer was a maybe, BAD were on,
Lloyd Cole was on, Tom Waits (I hope) was on.....
Also, When is it? Where can I get tix (Reading/Newbury)? etc...
Tell me I haven't missed it.....

Saw Then Jerico on the Montreux Rock Festival on telly last night.
They were good. I've not heard that much of Then Jerico stuff so I
couldn't tell you what they did, but the guys had their act together.

Well, it seems that (partly at least) I can answer my own question
now.....
I got their (only) album, entitled "First (The Sound Of Music)" which
contains their hit single "The Motive", but not their most recent
chartbuster (!) "The Big Sweep". I have no idea when the album
was released, since the cover (CD) is devoid of any dates whatsoever.
It's a good album, *very* energetic, I suppose one could compare
them as a sort of A-ha with a bit more aggression!
Did TJ play *live* at Montreux? Or did they mime? I heard that
a lot of Montreux contributors were miming this year, which to me
makes the whole thing something of a farce.

As far as I can tell they were live, but don't quote me on that
:-)

Rathole:
Friday night we saw some of the artists at Montreux this year and
I was surprised to see Steve Winwood lip-synch to the recording.
There was someone else too, but I can't remember who it was..
Why do they do it? Anybody?
