Hi,

I'm planing a Summer Ball and am currently looking for a suitable dance band.
Can anyone recommend any Bands in the Berkshire/Surrey area who play either
Glen Miller Big Band, Jive, or Swing ?

    There's a band called Berkshire Youth Jazz Orchestra which I remember
    as being real good when I was at college.
    
    Some hints.
    
    Phone the Reading Univeristy SU and ask for whoever organsies the
    monday night jazz. 
                      
    Look at Hickies the music shop opposite the Butts, they might have
    adverts.          
                      
    Ask at the Hexagon.

    if its not too late, I know a great dixie jazz band who will play
    anything you like.
    
    	Check them out at the Turks Head (London road Reading) every
    Tuesday.
