    Hi,
    
    I want to use Frontpage to create some forms and other html pages on an
    Alpha running NT 4.0 in association with the Microsoft Index Server. We
    have a large number of Word and Excel '95 documents that we want to
    index. I assume I need the old version of Frontpage v1.1 and Frontpage
    Server extensions v1.1 since most our documents are created using
    Office '95.
    
    Any idea where I can get hold of these?
    
    Will '97 versions of Server extensions and Frontpage work ok?

    PS I've checked IBG kits Server, only '97 versions are available.

	The '97 versions are backwards compatible AND they are the
	only ones that run under Alpha. Please use those.

	I'm a little confused by this.  What has Frontpage to do with indexing?
  If you are going to run Frontpage extensions you MUST run the Frontpage 97
  Server extensions on the Alpha.  V1.1 is only for Intel and does NOT work
  even under FX!32 on Alpha.  You can use either Frontpage V1.1 OR 97 on the
  client.  This is supported by Microsoft.  Frontpage doesn't care about the
  version of Word or Excel.  There is NO relationship between Frontpage and
  Office products.  In any case Word 97 and Excel 97 can read Word 95 and
  Excel 95 documents.

		Danny
