I downloaded the doc of AVFW 97/d'unix from altavista site
recently, but failed to print it. Anyone has done it ?

Obviously we could print it or we wouldn't have put it out :-). What problem did you have when printing it? If you can view PDF format, you can grab the documentation from oakhill.altavista-software.com, username and password are 'tundocs'. j. | |||||

The file is compressed and I uncompress it both on vms and unix,
when I submit it, the printout is just many codes and not a book.
I think it is a PS file, also I tried to use MS Winword but failed.
I am trying to access oakhill.altavista-software.com, but failed
with " (61) Connection refused,
The remote site or server may be down. Please try again soon."
