I've installed the FrontPage 97 Extensions for Alpha to a 2100, the FP
ide works well enough but when I attempt a simple IDC query to the
Alpha version of SQL server also on the same box the IIS is stalled.
The IIS manager reports the server is still running (which it isn't)
and I have to stop and start the www and ftp services via the Control
panel.
I retrieved the Alpha FP97 extensions from the MS website and I'm not running the
emulator.
Any clues ?

Further to the prior note, I shoiuld point out that an initial ODBC
error is returned either pointing out a syntax error or when I
experimented and used a unknown dsn name a message indicating it could
find the data source name, so I know the server is processing the idc
file, it just that it stalls after delivering its reply.

You should be asking this in the NT Notes Conference. This is not an Internet Problem as such. You probably didn't set up your ODBC Entries correctly. I am running the AdvWorks example as well as some as-yet unannounced applications on my Alpha using SQL Server and IIS with no problems encountered. Danny | |||||
