You should have noproxy set to .dec.com, so altavista.pa.dec.com should
work regardless of the status of the external proxys.

As .1 said, add the dec.com to the no-proxy list. The firewall proxies don't support access to the internal Web servers. If they happen to allow it, it's more by accident than by design. Danny | |||||
