I got my workstation moved to a node that is running MOTIF 1.2-4
This hasn't helped. I still crash regularly.

    >Does the server crash?
The process on the Alpha system where I run Navigator from (pushing
the window to the 4000VLC disappears. My workstation is hung so I can't
check to see if it disappears before or after my workstation is
    rebooted.

    >Looks for a process decw$server_0
Can't the workstation is hosed...I did try setting host to it once, it
    didn't respond.

    >check sys$manager:decw$server_0_error.log
Don't have the privs...these are "productivity cluster" machines...I
really can't do much but use it as a windowing display.

    >Can you log into the system from the network?
Only tried once and it was hosed.

To add a little more detail to the hang (since I've given you nothing
else) the disks starts seeking like crazy and within 30 seconds the
curser/pointer on the screen disappears. Eventually the disk stops but
the curser doesn't return. Sometimes all my windows disappear, other
times the machine halts and I get the >>> prompt.

    Still looking for any suggestions,
    Mario
