Sigh, perhaps I'm missing something, but if so, perhaps someone can point me in the right direction ? If one goes to the www.windows.digital.com home page and drills down, there is very little documentation on what HW is supported ie. the equivalent to the old support.doc file that was kicking around awhile ago. The current supported hw document on the web is dated Oct 1996 and is based on V1.0 SP2 and below. Is this info available somewhere else ? If so, can we please have the web page updated ? Thx in advance, / Kerry

Kerry, Have a look at http://www.windows.digital.com/~ftp/NTCluster.htm This is an external site, that has an updated list (posted 30 May 1997). I have not looked at it but... Hope this helps, Greg Harkness Sydney CSC

Sydney, Thx for the pointer. Good news - the pointer from the main cluster site has been finally updated to point to this same web page. Bad news - NT Cluster no longer has pointer on main windows page (www.windows.digital.com) and this is at a time when Customers are getting really hot about NT availability issues. One has to hope that Customers will know enough to select products, drill down to software products, then select NT clusters. Perhaps the reason it was removed from the main windows page was that the word Alpha in the old pointer was just to much for the PCBU that controls that page ? Bad news - in the NT Cluster page, there is a big reference to the kit being removed "once again due to data corruption". This will make Customers feel real warm about this product. Why could we not have said something like "due to a problem just discovered, the kit is temporarily not available?" http://www.windows.digital.com/~ftp/NTCluster.htm Sigh .. Regards, / Kerry

re: .2 by OTOU01::MAIN Sorry about the wording, Kerry. That was *MY* fault. I think like an engineer and not someone who deals with customers and marketing issues. I told the truth. Sometimes that is appreciated... Bill |
