Hi, I have a short question. Customer wants to use NT Cluster with NT-Firewall. Is that possible with Cluster 1.1 , IP-Failover? Regards Harald Kiy

I believe that the status of the firewall is kept in the registry. This piece of the registry is needed on the surviving server, but is not 'duplicated' there by NT Clusters there! If you manage to start the firewall software through a script and manage to get at the registry data (by program etc), then you might have success. Thomas |
