Hello NT Wizards,
As far I understand the NT Cluster, on IP is aliased and using the client
extension, NetBIOS naming also.
It mean that no Netware failover is available, am I true?
I'm currently planning to move 8 NW servers to 1 NT Alpha Cluster of 4100.
The clients are moving to NT 4 but it takes time, still 400 NW clients will
need to access the server when the service will start. How may we integrate
the FPNW into the cluster? Can we move the service from one node to the other
and the clients have to reconnect? (mean not a transparent failover, just
failover like a client over a WAN)
