Hi, There is a way to fix a range for the local disk under WNT and/or restrict a range for the network drives ? Probably all people that use the Dec Cluster failover have this problem, because if the administators don't remember to not use the assigned drive letter to the Cluster Disks many problems can occurs. Thanks for any ideas Gabriele [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Planning does it. The installation instructions give a pretty good overview of what to do. The rest is up to the system manager. Obviously, the system manager must plan which drives are to be the cluster drives and then assign 'sticky' letters to them. Then as network drives are defined, always define them to known letters that don't conflict with cluster drive letters. tgc |
