Anyone has problem using SQL client with v1.1 client ?? ... I'm using Win16 directory from SQL6.5 Server CD to setup my Win95 PC as a client for cluster demo. However, cluster alias name cannot be connected after several trial with errors of Net library can't be located. Any advice? :> [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Install the client utilities from the SQL 6.5 server cd. Do not Use the files from the Win16 directory. The SQL client works just fine with either named pipe or socket connections. Donna | |||||
