Since no one in the engineering group has responded I'll confirm
the inquiry.
Yeah, the HSZ50 and SW450 (or RA450) are supported on both Alpha
and Intel based Clusters. I saw this documented (somewhere) and
thought it was in the release notes.
I've also requested that support.doc gets updated. btw, you can get
a good deal of info on storageworks products supported on nt
clusters at ...
http://www.imc.das.dec.com/swrks/homepage/teamnt/index.htm
hunting around the hotlinks yields some decent info.

re: -1
Do you mean yes/no
Standalone: Yes NT4.0
Clustering: NT 4.0 does not yet support the HSZ50..
now this is the confusing part, it mentions NT4.0, Clusterkit 1.1 Svp2
not sure if that means you got to have all these bits to equal a yes.

I checked with storageworks and confirmed that the hsz50
(ra450) is supported with NT 4.0 and NT clusters.
The info on that FAQ is abit confusing if not inaccurate.
The StorageWorks engineer said it will be revised very soon.

How about dual (redundant) HSZ50(RA450)configuration?

Considering the number of inquires here and for completeness sake,
the supported hsz based products on windows NT...
hsz20 (sw310/ra310)
hsz40 (sw410/ra410)
hsz50 (sw450/ra450)
... requires the device driver hszdisk.sys
The current version of hszdisk.sys for nt4.0 is v3.02
The current version of hszdisk.sys for nt3.51 is v2.71
If you don't have the latest versions, they can be acquired
via the web. see note 704.1 for pointers.
please note that the infamous rev matrix document called
support.doc does not yet reflect this.

Is there an external pointer for hszdisk.sys? I looked at the
www.windows.digital.com site where there are pointers for other
drivers, but I did not see hszdisk.sys.

Perhaps someone could put in link from Cluster page to this page ?
Thx in advance,
